Out of money, down on their luck and about to lose the roofs over their heads, they need a huge windfall to make their problems go away. They soon decide to host the party of the year at an exclusive mansion, which just happens to belong to none other than NBA superstar LeBron James.

I’m sure a lot of people remember the House Party film that came out in 1990, that starred Kid N’ Play and Martin Lawrence. This remake had a few moments when I chuckled, but other than that the movie was comes across has trying to hard to get laughs that just are not there.

House Party is above average with its acting, comedy, and story. The story about being two lifelong friends doing housecleaning duties for the one and only Lebron James’ house. They decide on throwing a house party to have a lot of fun and make money in order to pay for bills. Overall, I liked it for the celeb appearances, a few laughs, and entertainment.
